Does raw food harm a dog that also eats other foods in his diet? Is there a
medical/factual reason, or does it depend on the individual dog's digestive
system? If my dog eats a raw meal in the morning…then cooked in the evening
(or grain-free kibble if we are backpacking), does the mixture of raw and
cooked harm him? These were the questions on my mind when I asked the
question.

### you ask these questions in good faith but what you simply need to do is
empower yourself with knowledge. Once you understand how a carnivore's body
digests and eliminates food, you would never even dream of feeding cooked
anything, because you would understand the harm it does.

So, go to www.rawmeatybones.com and read EVERY chapter of Raw Meaty Bones
Promote Health which is available to order by hard copy or I believe, most
chapters can be read there online but Chapter 4 will help you tremendously.
I believe every responsible dog caretaker should have this book on their
shelf!

Knowledge will give you the confidence and discipline you require to give
your dog the best life possible. Optimal nutrition for their short life
span is paramount...no chemicals, drugs, vaccines...fresh, real food only.

The owners of the dog are seriously concerned, particularly as they
have seen Clyde deteriorate slowly over time and think time might be
running out for their pet who is still a young dog.

Will a change to raw feeding help here? Obviously any advice here is
both urgent, essential, and above all appreciated.

On behalf of Clydes owners

### Gavin,

Of course a fresh, appropriate diet will help. It is not to say that it
is a cure-all, but anytime you feed a species properly for what it is meant
to eat, you would be ASTOUNDED at the results.

Just as you or I thrives when we consume fresh vegetables, lean
proteins...nothing processed, the dog/Wolf, THRIVES on fresh raw meat,
organs and bones.

Vaccine damage can also play a HUGE roll in all of this poor dog's
suffering but at least, getting fresh, wholesome food into him will be a
start, then finding a good homeopath can help further in getting him on the
road to wellness.

If they want to help this dog they must switch him immediately. He
deserves the best and has NO voice. Go to www.rawmeatybones.com, , get both
books that should be required reading. Dogs are meant to thrive on raw,
meaty bones or carcasses. See those teeth? They should be pristine white,
his breath should be pure.

We are all here to help you and this beautiful dog.
