Why did you snatch it? Were you worried about choking?

Thanks...the reason I snatched it was that Foxy is a little vacuum
and he tends to rush and not chew. The piece was pretty large for
him...not huge. He had stuffed his entire mouth with it and I could
tell he was preparing to just swallow it. I guess he would have
probably regurgitated it....but we were leaving the house and my
husband was in a rush...thus I snatched it. I could try to semi
freeze something like this..this does help him work harder and
longer. It makes sense though that it is a good work out...and
boy...they certainly chewed on much worse...rawhide etc.

One of my guys has vomitted the last two nights in a row..I am
suspecting Pepper as he vomitted some green bile like stuff the other
night. He also was licking up the dry vomit this morning. I did
increase their pork portion and infact that was their meal
yesterday. I was going to give them chickent today...and maybe go a
bit slower with the newer protien...smaller portions with their
chicken. His appetite is good and he is not acting unusual. He did
this sometimes with the old food.

Hi Marge,
I asked this very same question about a week ago; and have since then
gone ahead and fed the roasts to my two GSDs.. they did very well
with it - it took them a nice long time to eat their meal but they
seemed to enjoy it very much.

I had no trouble with the fat content, but I'm convinced I have two
very easy keepers, they eat anything I hand them, and I've had maybe
one occurrence of diarrhea in all the time I've been feeding this, so
as the others have said, you may have a little trouble with the fat.
