[rawfeeding] Re: New puppy with diarrhea...

Hi! Since this is a young pup, I have to ask how much are you
feeding and how many times a day are you feeding? Pups at that age
do well with eating 3 - 4 times a day. Maybe you are feeding to
much at one meal? If there is to much food at one meal, it can
cause diarrhea. Also, I would stick with chicken for a few weeks
before adding in pork. Pork can be very rich and can cause the
diarrhea. What chicken parts are you feeding? If it is boneless,
he may not be getting enough bone to firm him up. Have you taken a
fecal sample to the vet to check for parasites/worms? That could be
the cause in a young pup too. As for organs, I would start adding
them in a week or two, after you have the diarrhea under control
because to much organs can cause diarrhea too. Try searing tiny
bits of liver, he may not like the "squidgy" texture.

So far he has been getting chicken and pork. My concern is
