[rawfeeding] RE: About Fish Oil Ingredients

I hope no one minds my "butting in" on this fish oil discussion. A
feind of mine recommeded fish oil as a supplement for one of my cats
who has sporadic hyperesthesia episodes - fortunately, very mild
ones. Anyway, the fish oil she uses and recommended and which I
bought is Puritan's Pride Fish Oil (in gel capsules - I bought the
1200mg caps). The ingredients on the label read:
"... Gelatin, Glycerin. This product contains fish (herring, anchovy,
mackerel, sardine, sprat, salmon) ingredients. Laboratory tested to
meet strict quality control standards for potency, purity and
disintegration. Marine Lipid Concentrate."

If anyone is interested, Puritans Pride has a "Buy 1, take 2 Sale"
going on at the moment. I bought mine for $9.99 (1200 mg, 1000 soft
gels) and recieved THREE bottles.
