[rawfeeding] Re:The success of Raw feeding or How long have you been at it?

I have 3 generations of raw fed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. And have been
feeding this way for 10 years. Oldest dog is 13 years old and she is the
only one to have ever eaten Kibble.

We have not had to clean teeth in 10 years. And no vet visits other than
for accidental injury while hunting and Rabies vaccine every 3 years.

Our litter sizes have been large, 9 to 13 puppies per litter. We wean on to
raw, by offering large pieces of raw meaty bones as teething toys at 3 - 4
weeks. Mom finishes the weaning process by 10 - 12 weeks, for puppies that
remain with us. For Puppies that are sold, they go to homes at 9 - 10
weeks, with raw feeding instructions.
