[rawfeeding] Re: New dog here, need some help

Hi Jeni

approximately 3 year old Pomchi, little dog. I want to switch her to raw. I
have never seen such a small mouth before,
Feed her anything your big dogs eat but cut a little smaller. Beef, mutton,
roo, tongue, heart, etc can be fed as slices about the same size as a bread
and butter plate, chicken and turkey cut into eighths instead of quarters,
organs, especially liver, cut into pieces small enough to cover a teaspoon.

When you feed chicken and turkey, pork hocks, lamb shanks etc, you may have
to ribbon the meat so her tiny mouth can get a grip, but almost certainly
this little girl will amaze you with what she can eat.

My last dog was a boxer and my current one is a Maltese, but believe me,
both are living room wolves - it's only the size that varies.

Cheers
Sue
