[rawfeeding] Re: where do you feed your dogs-esp. more than one dog

Hi and welcome
I have two dogs, one who snarfs (Wink) and one who dines (Emma -
she's such a dainty eater and a true lady). The snarfer has gotten a
bit aggressive toward Emma and has tried to chase her away from her
food.
My solution is to feed them in separate areas. I feed Emma first
while snarf sits and waits. He sees that she gets her food first,
though I don't make him wait until she has finished (Maybe I
should?) before feeding him. I do station Wink during meals so that
they can both eat at their own pace. They sit, say please and wait
until I tell them they can eat. After they have both finished I wait
a few moments before releasing Wink and he promptly goes and licks
her bowl while she looks on with complete disdain at his appalling
lack of manners. It seems to work pretty well. Also, they each have
a dedicated small kitchen rug on which to eat - they, too, insist on
eating the big chunks and bones on carpet. I just wash them
frequently.
Good luck
