First, no, you probably don't need to worry if she's just gulping
down boneless meat. Dogs don't need to chew up their food
particularly -- just enough to get it down the hatch.

To slow her down, you could give her food frozen or partially frozen.

But what I'd really recommend IS those bigger pieces. I mean, how
could a dog gulp something that starts out bigger than his head??

Just because you put DOWN, say, 2 pounds of food, doesn't mean you
have to let your dog EAT 2 pounds of food. Put it down, leave it
until she's made a little dent, pick it up again. Stick it back in
the fridge until the next mealtime. Pull it out again and repeat.

Dumbing her food down so her gulping isn't as scary to you isn't
a long-term solution. Making it harder to eat, so that she's the one
who's got to adapt, is a much better approach all 'round.
