I am certainly not as expert as many on this list as I've only been feeding prey-model raw for 3.5 years. All of my Cavalier King Charles Spaniels have been fed raw since coming into my home. I constantly learn and am open to learning; we're all a work in progress:)

So, with having made this disclaimer:), I, too, leave Nature's variety medallions or patties for my husband to feed while I am away. It is just easier for him and something he feels he can manage. I don't agree with the veggies in the product as the dogs don't need them, but for a short while can accept it. And, I don't increase the amount of food to compensate for the veggies. In the big picture, this won't really matter.

So, enjoy your trip without fear.
