This evening's meal was Max's 5th raw feeding diet of The Honest
Kitchen (HK) Force mixture and raw extra lean ground beef. I am
following the daily recommendation guideline of 2% body weight which
is about 1 cup of dry to 1.25 cups of water and then about 1/8 cup of
ground beef. His poop following the first three meals were long and
soft but not mushy like it was during his medication treatment for
Giardia. Today, he pooped a total of 5 times! Nice and solid poop,
some where pretty long, 2-3 inches. Is this morning during the
initial transition to raw feeding? My Mom noticed today that one of
his poops did have some pieces of the veggies in the diet so I'm
thinking maybe he's getting too much veggies and I may have to switch
to a diet that has little to no veggies. HK is releasing a formula in
July called Thrive that has no grains or veggies. I am sure Primal
has something comparable that I can look into after I'm done with this
first bag which should last about a month.

Has anyone experienced or heard of this before?
