[rawfeeding] Re: diarrhea - new dog

During the check-up, did they do a fecal float? My 16-month old
JRT-mix was recently diagnosed with Giardia and was on Flagyl for
about 10 days. I recently moved to raw feeding through the use of The
Honest Kitchen Force and some extra lean ground beef. His poop is now
solid and his activity levels are back to normal prior to medication
and Giardia. I have yet to take in another fecal sample for a test
but will do so soon.

Regarding your JRT, what kind of raw feeding diet is he on now, would
you be willing to share your recipe? I'm trying to find some
recommendations as guidelines for dogs of the same breed and weight.
Max is about 17 lbs. and is moderately active.

Best regards,
Sean S.
