[rawfeeding] Re: Keep Teeth Clean

Hmmmm...I don't know...why not shoot a little higher than the
minimum? :-) What are you feeding? Meat and other tissue on bones
and awkward stuff that they can sink their teeth into and rip and tear
is what you want. For me, that can be a beef or pork roast, a slab of
beef or pork ribs, a hunk of bone-in goat (often a leg), a big pork
neck, lamb necks, lamb shanks...Try one of these parts if you haven't
already and you'll see exactly how the teeth cleaning happens! I feed
these types of things for most meals, but have heard of others doing a
lot of boneless hunks alternating w/bony parts--with the bony parts
being maybe 1-2 meals a week. Hopefully you'll get more answers.
