A. the grass caused her to vomit or B. the undigested bone bits were
irritating which led her to eat the grass which caused her to vomit.
Either way, her response is a normal reaction to an irritant. That she
dispatched the problem is a good thing. Were the undigested bone bits
to have stayed in her tummy, she would have be worse off by far.

Tell you husband it's okay.

I suspect you fed her too much bone/too little meat. The organ bits
were probably not an issue. Since chicken backs historically skimp on
meat, adding more than "some" breast meat is typically recommended.

Her response to a digestive irritant is appropriate. As she logs in
more raw hours, her digestion will be better able to deal with bony
meals. I think this sort of event has happened to all of us; it is not
necessarily limited to newbie feeders or newbie dogs.
