[rawfeeding] Choking

So I am pretty much over being freaked out about choking on bones, but
I always read on this list that a dog can choke on any food (kibble,
treats, etc) and that bones are no more of a threat. "yeah right," I
thought.
Well this morning my dog plowed through his turkey hunk (butchered by
me too poorly to be quantified as a "quarter," lol), and then choked
on an old mother hubbard treat that I gave him before I left for work.
So there- dogs can choke on anything!

(I swept it out of his mouth and he ate the slimy bits back out of my
hand, no big deal, but it put me in my place)
