[rawfeeding] Dogs are carnivores

Hi there

I have a friend (who is a raw-foodist) who had her dogs on a vegan diet. They didn't thrive at all and their condition was terrible. She hence seeked help from a raw-foodist expert who recommended that she include marrow-bone in the dogs diet and put them exclusively on a mix of banana, avocado and marrow-bone (no meat needed). Apparently their condition has improved drastically to the point where they are a picture of health.

In telling her my choice of dog diet she immediately argued that dogs are omnivores. Through my research I am 98% sure that yes indeed a carnivorous diet is natural and necessary, but I wonder if there is any website information that somebody can point me, so I can educate myself further. I tried the two websites listed at the bottom of the file 'Dogs are Carnivores', but got rather lost.

Thanks for reading
