Hi Carolyn -
I am in the southeastern portion of Virginia. I do not use any type of flea preventative on my Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and I have a "virgin" yard in which they play.
I bathe my pups weekly and rarely, if ever, see a flea. I feel safe saying that rawfeeding provides an unhospitable host for these parasites. I know it takes a "leap of faith" not to treat, but with rawfeeding, your guys will be fine.
