[rawfeeding] Salmon Heads
Hi there
I have just been away and many messages to catch up on.
Chris, I have just read that you have salmon heads stocked in your
freezer. I did intend to ask what you and all think of this for a
puppy of 13 weeks. I have just come home with some salmon heads very
cheaply offered at our supermarket. We are very limited here and don't
have all the options that you guys seem to find/have. I am going to
take up the freecycle idea but our local group is so small. But will
give it a shot.
Anyway, we are so far eating chicken and heart no problem. Zac is 13
weeks and I'm thinking of introducing fish next. Is a salmon head OK
for a pup that age. Are the fins OK. The bones seem so fine and
sharp. Please excuse my ignorance.
Also I snapped up a half pig head. Won't give him that yet, as I
understand the importance of introducing one protein at a time over a
week or so. But just wondered if there were any precautions to take
for a puppy.
Comments/advice very welcome. thanks for reading.
