*** perhaps you could pack the meat in dry ice inside a styrofoam
container. this will keep it frozen for a day or two. I know this
because scientists who research on animals do this when they ship the
remains to be tested. styrofoam is light, and I don't think dry ice is
prohibitivley expensive.
There are also freezers you can put in your car, but I've heard they
are extremely expensive. I'm not sure if they run off battery or what.
