By all means, get the free chicken and feed it to your dog. I feed
freezer burned meat pretty regularly.
From the wording of your last sentence, I am lead to beleive that you
may be trying to feed a balanced meal each time you feed. Don't worry
about balancing individual meals. Balance over time. Yes a chicken
carcass is a meal. It is completely balanced? Probably not. Don't
worry about it. Just be sure you feed some organs every week or so
and you will be ok. You can feed beef heart with the chickens if you
wish or you can feed it another time with another meal. It just
doesn't matter.
