[rawfeeding] Re: Dogs do not like chicken

When first adding turkey to my dog's diet, he would not eat it.
Someone on this list recommended rubbing meat with garlic, so I took
some minced garlic in a zip-loc bag and added the turkey pieces and
"smooshed" it around and let marinate for a couple hours before
feeding. He ate it like it was the best thing he had ever had and
from then on, no problems eating turkey. I've also read putting
parmaesan cheese on the meat can help. Most lamb, goat & pork bones
are digestable as well. Pork picnic roasts are fairly inexpensive
where I live. I have also found boneless pork loins at Sam's Club(I'm
in northern CA) for $1.49/lb for nice meaty meals. Hope this helps!
Good luck!
